About

Hi. I’m Casey.

Whether we know each other personally or not, you’re familiar with my work…you just didn’t know it was me.

Over the last 20 years I’ve created the sales jargon, press releases, social media content, pitch decks, ad campaigns, user manuals, product specs, marketing slogans, web copy. From slogans for ultra-niche kink accessories to entry-level vibrators, I’ve blessed it with my own brand of creative sorcery.

Now, I’ve bottled my market-tested sexual wellness brand strategies into the Pleasure Brand Lab: smart, retail-ready tools for indie product makers and retailers who are fucking tired of begging the algorithm for scraps.

The Short Story (Long)

My marketing career started in 2001 when Myspace and Napster were the new frontier, years before 50 Shades was a rough draft.

I didn't know what marketing was at the time. It certainly wasn't elective in Catholic high school. That year, I was pursuing a Journalism degree by day and writing for the San Fernando Sun newspaper by night. At the time, I covered local high school football games on Fridays. Beyond that, I had no vision for my journalism career.

The summer of 2001 rerouted my entire life. I dropped out of college and landed a marketing internship at Universal Music/Interscope Records by pure luck (and I’ll romanticize that story forever). I was paid in CDs, vinyl, and backstage passes—but before I could legally drink, I was helping bring major albums to market, including Kanye West’s first album and the last album Johnny Cash recorded in his lifetime.

In 2005, Napster had shaken the music industry to its core, and it was time to move on from Universal Music. (How I found my first job in the industry at XBIZ is a whole other story...I'll save that for later.)

The most valuable part of my 4-year experience at Universal had nothing to do with a diploma. The marketing playbook I picked up back then is still the one I rely on today. We didn’t need social media to break indie artists back then, and we still don’t need it to move product now.

Pre-internet, guerrilla marketing practices matter even more in 2025 as digital platforms work hard to censor sexual wellness. When the system isn’t built for you, you learn how to work around it: louder, smarter, and on your own terms.

A big chunk of my work has been social media-centric. But recent years have made one thing clear: platforms censor first and ask questions later.

I'm fucking tired of begging the algorithm to cut us a break, and I know you are too.

Today, my framework is centered on time-tested grassroots marketing strategies for sexual wellness retailers and product makers. What I teach isn't based on theory, but on proven results for brands across both mainstream and adult categories over the span of 25 years.

My work blends real-time research, precise positioning, and comprehensive, made-from-scratch tools you won’t find anywhere else - like on ChatGPT or lifted from someone else’s playbook. I help brands stop chasing algorithms and start attracting ideal clients, core customers, and dream collaborators.

Research is a full-contact sport for me. I lurk deep in the comments, obsess over retail data, and analyze real-world trends because I’m wired to spot what really compels customers to choose you.

I love…

I’m not just a marketing strategist. I’ve sold the products, pitched the buyers, created the copy, and built the audience. And I’m still knee-deep in it. I’m also the one in your corner, reminding you that your brand is valuable and viable. Achieving the traction you're chasing might be easier (and more profitable) than you think.

I won't sell you false hope about going viral or beating the shadowban. The truth is, the formula doesn't fucking exist. Those who say otherwise are selling you bullshit.

I'm here to help you move product and build meaningful connections with your ideal clients & customers by offering up the proven strategies that have lived in my head and off the record...until now.
