Pleasure Brand Lab Has Entered the Chat

First, let me explain the cover image to this blog. Canva went down right as I was going to download the actual blog image that I plan to use for this post. This was the only one saved on my computer so I'm using it as a placeholder. But honestly? it's kind of how I feel about this project. š
Over the last several month's I've been working (dragging my feet) on a website migration (GoDaddy --> Shopify), and pouring every ounce of my brain and heart into this brand new, sweet child o' mine: Pleasure Brand Lab.Ā
This project is many years in the making, and I can't explain it all in one sitting. However, I'd like to record aĀ podcast about it soon.
All I know is that I feel the most expansive when I am creating for this project. That feeling affirms that this is exactly where I need to be, and that supersedes my resistance and urge to delay, the same kind Iāve given into for the past three years.Ā
Once I committed to it real and push through the hard parts, everything clicked: Pleasure Brand Lab is the container that I didn't realize was missing. It brings all of the moving parts together: community-driven workshops, clean, professional design, and a growth incubator for indie brands. The path is finally clear. Can't explain how grateful I am to feel creative and inspired again.Ā
Customizable, DIY-friendly marketing resources like this do not exist in the adult novelty industry: publicly accessible, market-tested, no gatekeeping and packaged for the small business community. Typically, business marketing support & assets are available for business owners who:Ā Ā
- Invest in a training course or online academy
- Have an account with a product distributor
- Work with a marketing consultancy
- Attend or exhibit at a trade show
- Buy direct from a manufacturer
Iām not a product distributor or manufacturer providing retailers marketing assets for anyone to sell MY products. My products are for the retailersĀ
One of the primary reasons I hesitated for so long is because being the first to market in is a double-edged sword.Ā For those who may be resonating with where I'm going with this, I'll just say this: Give them something to chase, but don't let them catch up.")

I've been reeaaeally quiet for the last 16 months (it was an existential crisis) but I'm BACK & really proud & excited to share this big ass project (no drumroll, please).

Ā It's always been true, but moreso after my "gap year" (midlife meltdown).
